Bookmakers William Hill have opened a book on when the next Labour majority government will happen – and make 2031 or later their 7/4 favourite.
'It seems to us that Labour supporters could have fifteen years or more to wait before they next have a majority government to support' said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
William Hills offer 9/4 that the next Labour majority government will happen in or between 2021-25; 11/4 that it happens between 2026-31, and their 9/2 outsider is that it could be as soon as 2020 or before.
Meanwhile, William Hill make Jeremy Corbyn 2/1 to stand down as Leader THIS year; 9/2 to go NEXT year; 12/1 in 2018; 12/1 in 2019; 6/4 in 2020 and 8/1 2021 or later.
William Hill offer 9/4 that the UK will enter recession before the end of 2017, 1/3 that it will not.
