Let Leadership Battle Commence

WITH ED MILIBAND odds on to stand down as Labour leader before midnight on Friday, bookmakers William Hill have already installed Andy Burnham as 5/2 favourite to succeed him.
'There is little doubt that Labour have under-achieved, and Ed Miliband is 1/2 to pay the penalty by quitting very quickly' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills make Yvette Cooper 3/1 second favourite to succeed him, and also offer 6/1 Chuka Umunna; 7/1 Dan Jarvis; 10/1 Tristram Hunt.
Hills believe there will be two other leadership campaigns, with Tim Farron 1/3 favourite to succeed Nick Clegg, ahead of 5/1 Norman Lamb and 8/1 Vince Cable.
Douglas Carswell is 2/1 favourite to replace Nigel Farage as Ukip leader with Hills who also offer 3/1 Patrick O'Flynn; 5/1 Diane Jones; 5/1 Suzanne Evans; 7/1 Paul Nuttall and Steven Woolfe.
