* did not defend the seat in North Kesteven, North Hykeham Mill

The Conservatives gained two seats and lost two seats:
- gained Norfolk, Gorleston St Andrews from UKIP on a 19% swing since 2013 in division won by Conservatives in both 2005 (narrowly) and 2009
- gained North Kesteven, North Hykeham Mill from Lincolnshire Independent who did not defend the seat won in May, so holding both seats for first time
- lost Richmond upon Thames, Hampton Wick, usually Conservative ward, to a Liberal Democrat on ~17% swing since 2014 after former Councillor elected MP
- lost Rother, Battle Town to the former Liberal Democrat Councillor on ~ 12% swing since May 2015 when Conservative unexpectedly gained one of two seats
Elsewhere Conservatives successfully defended seats in Hastings and Lincolnshire where previous majority was less than 10%

Labour were defending no seats with a previous majority of less than 10% but
- lost Wrexham, Llay to a Liberal Democrat by 26% majority despite no recent history in the 2 seat division where Independents won in both 2004 and 2008

Elsewhere Liberal Democrats increased substantially their majorities in Elmbridge and Kingston up Thames previously won narrowly whilst
SNP saw 20% plus swings from Labour in two Aberdeen seats and one North Lanarkshire seat where Labour were ahead on first preference votes in 2012 and
UKIP retained a seat in Tendering although the ~19% majority in May 2015 fell to little more than 5%
